Add topo
usgs topo can be pulled from terraserver
4 votesI found the tileset, however these is an issue, since they don’t specify a crossdomain, you won’t be able to save out an image (it will be black). Not sure if this a big issue or not.

More options when drawing polygons
I use the polygon tool to draw polygons where the length of all the sides is known, but they are not perfect rectangles, etc. Using the polygon tool as it is now, I need to draw the polygon to be roughly the shape, then individually set the lengths of each line, being careful to select which vertex to "lock" as I go around changing the lengths. Frequently, I end up with a slightly off polygon due to one of the vertices needing to move as part of the drawing process.
What would help me a bunch is allowing me to…
4 votesWe are having a hard time understanding the issue. it is possible to draw a polygon by using the line tool and then at the very end “fill it” using the bucket tool. This way you don’t have to work with a completed polygon from the start.
Also is this being done with the edit tool/length adjust panel?
A video would be really helpful for us understanding the issues you are having.

A plugin feature where the user can design plugins to their maps or accounts that can be downloaded or saved
Plz, I have used your service for more than a year, and that entire time I wanted a feature to border-snap while drawing and many others.

pan (using shift) shouldn't end your "command"
E.g. while drawing a connected line, and using "shift" to pan or zoom. My connected line is trunkated. Then I have to go find the end of the line again, connect and start drawing. Just keep the line continuous while drawing.
3 votesI am actually going to take a look at this for connected line in particular. For drawing/scribbling it’s not really possible. The reason for this you press down to draw if you then pressed another button to pan, there would be no action that could be taken once you stop panning. Unless I actually took control of the mouse, this would have other confusing implications.

fix the "terms of use" link.
I can't click on Terms of Use in the bottom right corner of the map.
3 votesThis seems to be a bug with Google’s API, we are looking into it.

allow the new marker to labels feature to be reversible.
This will allow us to make markers from the endpoints of labels. Thought it would make sense as it would help users who may have made labels mistakenly simplify their maps visually with markers

Need a color picker. Even MS Paint has this thing
Need a color picker to be able to select the color of a line, shape, etc., that is already drawn. Currently it's utterly impossible to replicate the color of a shape or line that is already drawn on the map. There is no way to see the Html code of the the line's color, nor is there a color picker to select its color.
3 votesI want to do this, maybe I will add it as a tool in the color palette.

Group mapping
I just tried to use this for an English class. My hope was that students on different computers would be able to edit the same map. But, of course, every time one person saved his/her contribution it deleted all others. Obviously, I should have seen that aspect coming, but I didn't. Anyways, it would be a really powerful tool if multiple people could edit the same map at once.
3 votesYa we are aware of this problem, we have infrastructure laid for co-operative mapping. Right now what we recommend is using separate maps and then the import function to combine maps.

Could there be the creation of streets and avenues, and when it was approaching, her name appears, but in the maps of ficcion
In fictional maps there is no way to do this, it appears the name is very important to make the map more sophisticated air

add option at "Save Map" to make a new copy without including masked items
I have a large database of sensitive information and only want to share small subsets with others. Right now I have to delete each item I don't want to share before saving a new copy and sending a link. It would be far easier to have a tickbox to include/discard masked items upon saving with a new Map ID name.

Do you have an example of this? I am having a hard time visualizing how you would draw a polygon from the center out. Unless you mean to show a temporary line from center to next point, with a distance.
What would be a use case for this?
